Management Policy
Executive Board of FAP „PAFAL" S.A. considers management in the scope of the Integrated Quality and Environment Management System has essential meaning for business operations of the company in the scope of designing and production of metering equipment and services.
The main objective of the company in the scope of quality is fulfilment of CLIENT requirements and in order to achieve this we ensure:
- products and services on a repeatable, high level of quality performed according to processes supervised in conformity with ISO 9001:2008,
- fulfilment of legal requirements, EU directives, especially MID No 2004/22/EC, and standards,
- professional service.
Company’s activities have process approach and are directed at:
- research, development of new products and modernization of existing ones,
- countering irregularities and constant improvement of process quality,
- partner cooperation with Suppliers.
Modern company management means environmentally friendly management and as a result the Executive Board undertakes to:
- acting according to ISO 14001:2004 standard,
- improvement of processes concerning decrease of negative influence on the environment,
- implementation of ecological design of new products and technological processes.
Activities are mainly focussed on:
- restricting of use of substances harmful for the environment,
- decrease of energy use,
- decrease of pollution emission,
- decrease of waste volume,
- use or recyclable materials,
- fulfilment of legal and other requirements in the scope of environment protection concerning the company,
- dialog with the community, local authorities and employees in the scope of natural environment protection.
The factor determining effective functioning of the Integrated System is constant improvement of employee qualifications through trainings. The Executive Board undertakes to create conditions allowing development of their employees.
The improvement of the Integrated Management System is a systematic task for all the employees of the company based in the PDCA work model:
Plan... Do... Check... Act
This policy makes up the framework for setting and reviewing objectives and tasks concerning quality and environment.
PN-EN ISO 9001: 2008 standard
Production process is performed on the basis of a certified and permanently improved Quality Management System complying with the requirements of PN-EN ISO 9001:2008 international standard.
TUV NORD POLSKA
In 1996 FAP PAFAL S.A. for the first time was granted a TUV NORD POLSKA certificate. The design and implementation of the SYSTEM was mainly the result of expectations of foreign customers like FIAT, German customers and South American customers. With time operation of a certified SYSTEM became a strong point in the promotion of products and in tenders.
ISO 9001
In 1998 the SYSTEM was thoroughly modernized in order to comply with the ISO 9001 edition of 1994.
ISO 9001
In 2003 after the recertification for the 2000 edition of ISO 9001, the certificate was granted until 02.01.2010.
PN-EN ISO 9001: 2001 oraz PN-EN ISO 14001: 2005
By the end of 2006 PAFAL was granted a Certificate for an Integrated Management System, fulfilling the requirements of PN-EN ISO 9001: 2001 standard (Quality Management) and PN-EN ISO 14001: 2005 standard (Environment Management).
PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025: 2001 and Accreditation Certificate
Moreover in 2005 the company designed and implemented Quality System in Meters Laboratory according to PN-EN ISO/EC 17025: 2001 standard and was awarded an Accreditation Certificate In the scope of calibration of electrical energy meters.
