Management Policy

Top quality and functionality of our products has been our priority for 80 years. By constantly seeking new solutions we have won the trust of our Clients. To reassure that our innovative ideas are followed by high quality, a decision on the restructuring of the existing quality control system and to adjusting it to the international ISO 9000 standards was taken in 1995. The Quality Assurance System implemented and certified in 1996, has become a guide for our personnel. Quality control ensures the highest level of rendered services. Understanding of the needs of our Clients are among the key elements of our activities.

In belief that only comprehensive regulation of all processes taking place in the company allows for reliable supervision and continual improvement of our operations, in January 1999 we introduced the Integrated Management System in our Factory. The system includes three interrelated and complementary sub-systems: Quality Management, Environmental Management and Industrial Safety Management. Its policy can be presented in the following motto:

On the basis of a review conducted by the Executive Board, the company made a decision in 2001 on implementation of a quality management system conforming to process approach specified in ISO 9001:2000 standard. In 2005 PoWoGaz conducted another restructuring of the Integrated Management System adjusting it to the requirements of ISO 14001:2005 and PN-N-18001:2004 standards.

We have the Integrated Management System certificate issued by PCBC, confirming fulfilling of the requirements of: PN-EN ISO 9001:2001, PN-EN ISO 14001:2005 and PN-N 18001: 2004 standards.

The confirmation of our achievements are numerous prizes and awards received over many years, among others:

reward of the 3rd Polish Quality Award Contest (1997),
1st award of the 4th Polish Award Contest (1998),
1st place in the 4th Polish Quality Award Contest (2000)
distinction in the European Quality Award Contest “Aspire to Excellence”, organized by the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM). The prize is considered a very prestigious one in Europe, and PoWoGaz won this title as the first Polish company (2002)
