Apator SA supported the organization of PLASTER -International Festival of Poster and Typography that was held on 26-29th May 2010 at Modern Art Center in Toruń

It is the event that promotes young graphic artists who make posters and graphic designs.

The posters were presented both in Modern Art Center and outside with the background of historical architecture of the city and they showed what is the original and up-to date in poster painting. The festival was accompanied by poster and the typographic workshops contest organized by famous European designers, international exhibitions of modern poster and the posters of the Polish outstanding poster designer Lex Drewiński.

Apator SA participates in innovative project “CSR the platform of knowledge transfer and creation of common venture of social responsibility”. The project is aimed at the exchange of knowledge and experience between scientific environment and business in the scope of social responsibility of business. The executor of the project is the Nicolas Copernicus University in Toruń and enterprises from Kujawsko and Pomorskie province .

We have the honour of supporting the activity of artists. Cooperation with Sławek Wierzcholski, a well-known Toruń bluesman, resulted in the release of “Piątek Wieczorem" (Friday Night) album, which went gold and the organization of a harmonica festival in Toruń called “Harmonica Top".

We support the organization of "Probaltica" Music and Art Festival of the Baltic Countries.

This year the company decided to support Toruń in its efforts to become the European Capital of Culture 2016 by sponsoring SKYWAY ’09 International Light Festival.

SKYWAY ‘09 is an exceptional festival that will brighten up Toruń with installations and happenings prepared by recognised artists from all over Europe. Inspired with the character of the city, the festival is dedicated to the sky and astronomy. While the beautiful Perseids will be visible in the sky, on the ground we will be able to see the unique artistic setting of this event, thanks to this SKYWAY will be an unforgettable experience for everyone.

The festival will include monumental objects and ethereal pictures painted with light on the buildings of Toruń, interactive installation and interdisciplinary projects, and unique events integrating the citizens of the city. The leitmotif of the programme is Light – Light thanks to which the city space is shaped and Light studied by scientists.

The perfectly preserved gothic Old Town of Toruń is a perfect place for artistic projects that will show known spaces and historical buildings in a completely new light. There, where creativity, technology and art meet, there must be a place for admiration, surprise and good fun. The objective of the project is to support Toruń in its competition for the title of the European Capital of Culture 2016.

SKYWAY ‘09 includes 14 light installations and artistic happenings, 3 special events, 4 supporting events and an educational programme which complements the artistic part of the festival. Mário Caeiro is the artistic director of the festival. 

On our exhibitions we present various fields of art: painting, graphics, photography, sculpture, industrial design.Beginning from 25 January 2010 "A" Gallery will be presenting a photography exhibition "Ethiopia. Such a world exists".

"Ethiopia. Such a world exists" is another photography exhibition, documenting a journey to the picturesque lands of north-eastern Africa.
